Most of the paper I have previously used has been imported luxury paper. With an interest in sustainability, I have been experimenting with different types of paper, paper treatments, and adhesives.

These papers are created out of paper grocery bags. I used different types of sustainable glues as well as coatings that do not have any plastic components. The paper is treated, stained, and treated again to create a wonderful warm or glossy finish, depending on the flower.

These flowers feel and look very different from my previous projects in exciting ways!
